The holiday season is the perfect time for Revolution Dance Academy to give back to the community and share its love of dance. The studio’s Performing Arts Ensemble (PAE) was once again asked to perform at the United States Air Force Academy basketball team’s half-time show when the Falcons took on the University of Denver (DU) Pioneers at Clune Arena on December 5. The dancers put in extra rehearsal time and it really showed on the court. Congratulations to each dancer who participated – you were beautiful and danced from the heart! And thank you to all our RDA families who came out to support the dancers and the Air Force Academy Falcons!
RDA dancers also spent a weekend in December bringing holiday cheer to senior citizens in the community. They performed at four nursing homes in Colorado Springs, putting smiles on the faces of residents. It is always a highlight of the season for dancers to spread joy through dance. It is something they look forward to every year.
Thank you to Brookdale Skyline, Broadmoor Court, Winslow Court and The Bridge for inviting us to perform. Happy Holidays!
“There comes a moment in a young artist’s life when he knows he has to bring something to the stage from within himself. He has to put in something in order to be able to take something out.”
